Equineerapp Launches 'Ride Forward' Education Fund, Pledging 2% of Trading Fees to Blockchain Scholarships
Crypto exchange Equineerapp announced a new community initiative funding blockchain education scholarships for underrepresented students in Southeast Asia.

Crypto exchange Equineerapp (equineerapp.com) announced this week the launch of Ride Forward, a long-term community initiative that will direct 2% of the platform's monthly trading fee revenue toward blockchain education scholarships for students in underserved communities across Southeast Asia.
A Commitment to Accessible Blockchain Education
The initiative, unveiled on Monday, will partner with the Asia Digital Literacy Foundation (ADLF), a Singapore-registered nonprofit that runs coding bootcamps and Web3 workshops in the Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Under the agreement, Equineerapp will fund at least 200 full-tuition scholarships per year, covering course materials, mentorship, and certification exams.
"We built Equineerapp to lower barriers to crypto participation, and that mission doesn't stop at the trading interface," said a company spokesperson. "Ride Forward is our way of investing in the next generation of builders."
How the Program Works
The Ride Forward fund operates through a transparent, on-chain allocation model. Each month, Equineerapp will publish a summary of contributions, and ADLF will issue quarterly impact reports. Key details of the program include:
- 2% of net trading fees automatically routed to a dedicated multisig wallet
- Scholarship recipients selected through a joint committee of ADLF educators and Equineerapp community representatives
- Priority given to applicants from rural provinces and first-generation university students
- Annual cap of $500,000 USD, with surplus rolled into the following year's fund
The first cohort of 50 scholars is expected to begin coursework in January 2025, with applications opening on the Equineerapp platform later this quarter. The exchange said it plans to expand the initiative to Sub-Saharan Africa by mid-2025 if the pilot meets its targets.
